LEGO Robotics Courses for EV3 NEW

(Age 10-14)


LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 (https://education.lego.com/) is a hands-on, cross-curricular STEM solution that engages students by providing the resources to design, build and program their creations while helping them develop essential skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

These courses ignite students' natural curiosity and sharpen their scientific inquiry, engineering design, and data analysis skills. The class will be in Kanata and Barrhaven.



Class E Programs

Class E is one year session for EV3 beginners, it includes three parts

  1. E1: EV3 Robot Coding (Part 1)
  2. E2: EV3 Robot Coding (Part 2)
  3. E3: EV3 Robot Building

In the class, students will create EV3 robots and program to control robot behavior. They will
  • •Use different reasoning approaches to evaluate evidence and develop theories
  • •Create and work with data to solve problems and draw conclusions
  • •Learn to identify problems and use appropriate tools to find and communicate solutions
  • •Refine their use of science and engineering practices to solve problems, hone ideas, and evaluate solutions
