Online Course - 2D Graphical Programming

(Age 9+)
This course will have 24 lessons(45 minutes/lesson), students will have two lessons at one time on every Saturday. It will last 12 Saturday nights. Using the project learning method, students will learn various algorithms and programming knowledge in the project, examples are as follows:

Star Wars: physics engine, speed, rotation angle, movement and random number combination
Moonlight Clock: time representation, time division, angle-oriented, negative, color collision
Maze Game: loop on condition, multiple conditions, Conditional blocks

Drone Courses

(Age 9+)
This course is the basic course for the principles of aircraft. Students will learn how to make an airplane (Drone).
The course will have three lessons, every lesson will last one hour. First five students will have $40 off. Deadline is Feb. 15, 2019.

Arduino Courses

(Age 11+)
Our Arduino STEM courses provide students with the critical thinking, technology and creative skills necessary to build innovative electrical and mechanical equipment! In this course, you will learn how to seamlessly combine the engineering process with Arduino's C-based programming to create your own electronic device to take home.
The class has 5 lessons, 75 min per lesson, If register before Dec. 10, student will have Arduino kit for free. Deadline is Dec. 20, 2019

Canada Mathematics and Computing Contests


Ottawa Robotics Club is proud of cooperating with CEMC and University of Waterloo to organize these contests. These internationally recognized contests to help to inspire the next generation of students to develop an interest in and love for mathematics and computer science. Interested students should register before the Deadline.

BCC: Beaver Computing Challenge
Format:
45 minutes
12 multiple choice questions for 60 total marks (Grade 5/6)
15 multiple choice questions for 90 total marks (Grade 7/8 and Grade 9/10)

Innovation Lab (Age 14+)


New students must be from ages 14 to 17, they should have an interview, upon review/recommendation by mentors and in consideration of our cap. They will learn and research advanced knowledge and technology, design and build innovative projects (Robots and AI). There are additional costs for competitions that are NOT included in the membership fee.

The mathematics course uses the Canadian mathematics outline combined with Singapore math to help your child start from the elementary school stage, build a solid foundation in arithmetic, scores, decimals, etc., and gradually improve the skills required for the middle school, such as advanced mathematics and calculus. $29.9 per lesson.
